Amanda Sourry's career path is notable, starting with her joining Unilever in 1985. Over the next three decades at Unilever, Amanda took on a variety of significant roles. Early in her career, she was involved in marketing and brand development within the United States. By 1999, she had advanced to senior positions, ultimately becoming the Executive Vice President for various categories, including Global Hair Care, Spreads & Dressings, and Global Foods. Notably, she held the role of President for Unilever North America from January 2018 to January 2020. Before that, she was the Chairman and Executive Vice President for Unilever UK & Ireland.
