Over the next 27 years, she took on multiple leadership roles, ascending from Consultant to Senior Managing Director. In these capacities, she led various teams and managed significant client accounts. She was instrumental in establishing long-term client relationships, driving sustainable sales and revenue growth, and promoting business transformation. During her time at Accenture, she notably managed the $8 billion Financial Services practice in North America and chaired the Diamond Client Forum to bolster key client relationships on a global scale.
Accenture Foundation
In addition to her leadership roles at Accenture, Wahlstrom served as the President of the Accenture Foundation. In this role, she developed the post-IPO Foundation strategy and grant processes to support Accenture's "Skills to Succeed" mission, underscoring her commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Alight Solutions
Transitioning to Alight Solutions in January 2021, Wahlstrom assumed the role of President and Chief Commercial Officer. Her journey brought her to BNY in May 2023, where she now serves as the Chief Commercial Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. Her responsibilities include leading the Global Client Management team, optimizing sales efforts and relationship management, and closely coordinating with other business heads to maximize the company’s commercial effectiveness. She reports directly to President and CEO Robin Vince.
