Her involvement in the Coro Pittsburgh program in public affairs from 2010 to 2011 further showcased her dedication to community engagement and public service.

In 2011, Channing joined the Women and Girls Foundation as a Government Relations Coordinator and later interned as a Diversity and Inclusion Associate at PNC. Her time at Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2013, where she was a graduate student, further reinforced her focus on public policy and management. She then became involved with the Presidential Management Fellows Program at OPM, serving in various capacities including Recruitment and Assessment Lead and at the Office of Diversity and Inclusion from 2012 to 2016.
Her career took a significant turn when she joined the U.S. Department of State as a Strategic Planner and Diversity and Inclusion Lead from 2016 to 2019. Following this, she served as the Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago until 2020. Channing then became the Chief Diversity Officer at CSG, where she worked until May 2022 before assuming her current role at IPG.
Notable Achievements
Among her notable achievements, Channing founded "EmPower Hour," a program aimed at fostering open dialogue around diversity and inclusion topics. This program offers individuals a supportive space and helps employers support their employees in meaningful ways. She was also awarded by the White House and the U.S. Department of Labor for the "Equal Pay App Challenge," a project designed to provide better access to pay data, thus empowering women and helping to reduce the gender pay gap.
