Early Education and Career Beginnings
 
Chantel Lenard has had a distinguished career marked by leadership roles in various industries, primarily focusing on marketing, executive leadership, and corporate governance. Her journey began with a strong educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, followed by an MBA from Harvard Business School.
 

Notable Tenure at Ford Motor Company
 
Lenard's professional journey is notable for its breadth and depth, particularly in the automotive industry at Ford Motor Company. She held several leadership positions over more than two decades, starting in January 1992. Her roles included various responsibilities in marketing, sales, strategy, and finance. She eventually rose to the position of Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer, serving from October 2013 to May 2017. Before that, she was Vice President of Marketing for the Asia Pacific and Africa regions from October 2010 to September 2013.
 

Transition to Corporate Governance
 
After her tenure at Ford, Lenard's career path took her into corporate governance. She became an Independent Director at various prominent companies, bringing her rich experience in marketing and leadership to the boardroom. Since September 2018, she has served on the Board of Directors for TTM Technologies, where she contributes to the Compensation and Nominating & Corporate Governance Committees.

In June 2020, Lenard added another directorial role to her portfolio at LSI Industries Inc. Here, she also participates in the Audit and Compensation Committees. From
January 2022 to April 2024, she was an Independent Director at Charge Enterprises Inc., where she was a member of the Audit and Nominating & Governance Committees. Lenard also served on the Board of Directors for Uni-Select Inc. from May 2020 until its acquisition by LKQ Corp. in August 2023, contributing her expertise to the HR/Compensation and Governance Committees.
 

Academic Contributions
 
In addition to her board roles, Lenard broadened her professional scope into academia. Since September 2017, she has been a Faculty Member and Lecturer of Marketing at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where she shares her extensive industry knowledge with future business leaders.
