Educational Background
 
Christopher's educational background is solid and diverse. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2009. He then went on to attain a Master's degree in Construction Engineering and Management from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2012. Additionally, Christopher has supplemented his formal education with various certifications.

Professional Experience
 
Throughout his career, Christopher has held many important roles in several prestigious companies.

  • Prior to his current position at Cipher Mining, he was the Principal Construction Manager at Vantage Data Centers, where he led the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover of a 32MW data center in Santa Clara, California.
  • Before that, he served as a Project Manager at Arcadis, managing the construction of two 60MW data centers for Google, with a total project value of $1 billion in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Christopher's earlier roles include being a Project Controls Lead at Arcadis in Charleston, South Carolina, where he managed costs, schedules, and contracts for six data centers totaling over $2.5 billion.
  • At Fluor Corporation, he oversaw project controls for a Procter & Gamble manufacturing facility project in Corrine, Utah, and directed data-centric execution for multiple multi-billion-dollar projects globally.
  • Before joining Arcadis and Fluor Corporation, Christopher worked as a Project Controls Engineer for Parsons in Doha, Qatar, managing project controls for the $8.1 billion Lusail City Project.
  • He also gained extensive experience working with HDR in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, managing a 26-mile tollway project consisting of 200 contracts totaling $640 million, and supporting seven independent bridge and roadway maintenance projects.
  • Christopher began his career with roles such as Chief Estimator at Sunciti Industries, Office Engineer at Prince Contracting, LLC, Field Engineer in Brazos County, and Engineering Analyst at Boeing in Houston, Texas.
