Educational Background
Constantin Sklavenitis has built a distinguished career in the beauty and luxury goods industry, marked by significant accomplishments and a diverse range of roles. His educational journey laid a solid foundation for his professional achievements. Constantin holds an MSc in Management with a focus on Marketing and Finance from EM Lyon Business School, a prestigious institution in France, where he studied from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics from Paris 2 University, completing his studies there from 1991 to 1994.
Current Role
Over the years, Constantin has held numerous key positions in various leading companies within the beauty sector. Currently, he serves as the Executive Vice President of CP Skin Health, a role he assumed in March 2024. In this capacity, he leads globally renowned brands such as Laboratoires Filorga, Elta MD, and PCA Skin, showcasing his expertise in steering significant beauty brands towards growth and success.
Previous Experience
Before joining CP Skin Health, Constantin was the Chief Brands Officer Prestige at Coty in Paris, France, from September 2021 to March 2024. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in elevating the prestige segment of Coty’s brand portfolio. His leadership capabilities were also evident during his stint as a Board Member at PRIORI Adaptive Skincare and WLDKAT. in 2021.
Constantin’s career also includes significant roles at MAC Cosmetics, where he served as the SVP / General Manager for North America from January 2019 to December 2020. His proven track record of driving brands to new heights continued with his role as the Deputy General Manager at Urban Decay Cosmetics and IT Cosmetics, splitting his time between New Jersey and California from October 2016 to January 2019, and as the SVP of Global Business Development for Urban Decay between 2013 and 2018.
Earlier in his career, Constantin worked with Kiehl's Since 1851 as the Senior Vice President of Global Business Development from January 2009 to April 2013. Additionally, he was the General Manager for Kiehl's and Shu Uemura Europe at L’Oreal in Paris, France, from 2007 to 2009.
Earlier Career
His tenure at L’Oreal also saw him take on diverse roles, including General Manager for the Luxe Division in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from 2004 to 2007, and Area Manager for Travel Retail Europe for Lancome from 2003 to 2004. He began with L’Oreal as an AVP for Global Product Development/Marketing at Biotherm Homme from 2000 to 2003, and as a Director for Global Product Development/Marketing at Lancome from 1999 to 2000. Starting his career at Vichy Cosmetics from 1996 to 1999, he progressed from being a Marketing Product Manager to Marketing Director.
