Early Career and Development

Dan's career trajectory is impressive, having held numerous pivotal roles in various renowned financial institutions. He started as a Financial Analyst at GulfStar Group and then moved to Salomon Brothers Inc., where he worked across Jakarta, Hong Kong, and New York, focusing on Asia Pacific investment banking and corporate finance. His career continued to flourish at Goldman Sachs International, where he co-headed European Convertibles Research. Dan also gained valuable experience at J.P. Morgan and UBS in London, leading to roles at BlackRock and Lyxor Asset Management.

Leadership Roles

As the Managing Director at Credit Suisse, Dan led the ETF division, positioning it as Europe’s fourth-largest provider. He later took on the role of Global Head of Exchange Traded Funds at Invesco, commanding $250 billion in assets. His leadership extended to roles at AlphaPoint and eventually to his current position as CEO of S&P Dow Jones Indices.
