Luthi's career began as a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance. This early experience laid the groundwork for her proficiency in navigating complex financial landscapes. She then moved on to Omnicom Group, where she managed external communications and investor relations—a pivotal step that honed her communication and analytical skills.
Director of Investor Relations at Accenture
Her tenure at Accenture as Director of Investor Relations was marked by establishing a robust global IR capability and significantly expanding the international shareholder base. Notably, she led her team to win an Institutional Investor’s award for best IR team in the IT Services sector.
Leadership at BearingPoint
Luthi’s leadership prowess became evident during her role at BearingPoint, where she dealt with investor relations and conducted competitive analyses post the company's public listing. Subsequently, at Accretive Health, she spearheaded corporate communications and investor relations during a critical period of crisis management involving a legal investigation.
Impactful Journey with Assurant
2012 marked the beginning of Luthi’s impactful journey with Assurant. Starting as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, she progressively took on larger roles, including Corporate Communications, Marketing, and eventually Executive Vice President positions. Under her leadership, Assurant saw substantial market appreciation, expansions through strategic acquisitions like the $2.5 billion acquisition of The Warranty Group, and a transformative shift from an insurance holding company to a global business services leader.
Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Operating Officer Roles
As EVP and Chief Administrative Officer, Luthi focused on enhancing global brand reputation and oversaw significant strategic initiatives. In her most recent role as Chief Operating Officer, she leads global operations, involving over 7,000 employees and multiple centers of excellence, driving business value and improving customer and employee experiences.
