Academic Background

George Strong has paved an impressive career path marked by key roles in management, consultation, and board oversight across diverse industries. Graduating from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, with a general studies diploma in 1965, George laid a strong academic foundation. He then proceeded to Yale University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 1969. His pursuit of higher education continued at Harvard Business School, obtaining an MBA in Managerial Economics in 1971, and further culminated with a J.D. in Law from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1974.

Early Career

His illustrious career began at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Los Angeles, where he worked from 1977 to 2002. Over the years, he ascended through various ranks, starting as a Senior Manager, and eventually becoming the Managing Partner (FAS-West) and a Board Member. This period was notable for his involvement in litigation and management consulting, as well as providing significant litigation support.

Cornerstone Research

Following his tenure at PwC, George contributed his expertise to several key organizations. At Cornerstone Research, starting in September 2002, he held substantial roles including Senior Advisor, Managing Director, General Counsel, Secretary, and Board Member. His role involved significant engagement in litigation consulting and expert witness support.

MediaHouse Ltd and Global Directories Ltd

In March 2014, George joined MediaHouse Ltd in Bermuda as a Director, a position he held until July 2018. There, he provided oversight for media companies in Bermuda and the Caribbean. Similarly, he served as a Board Member for Global Directories Ltd. from February 2016 to March 2022, managing a media enterprise holding company in the Caribbean and Central America.

Crescent Capital Business Development Corporation

His expertise extended to Crescent Capital Business Development Corporation, where he has been a Director and Audit Committee Chair since March 2015, overseeing financial institutions affiliated with the corporation.
