Throughout his career, Glenn has demonstrated a knack for driving impactful change. From 2013 to 2019, he served as the CFO of Annaly Capital Management, a $100 billion financial organization. In this role, Glenn led transformational initiatives, including restructuring the management and governance framework, and enhancing the enterprise risk framework. He also spearheaded the development of the company's financial and IT infrastructure. His proficiency and leadership were further recognized when he stepped in as the Interim CEO and President of Annaly Capital Management from 2019 to 2020.

 

Key Contributions at CIT Group

 

Before his tenure at Annaly, Glenn contributed notably to CIT Group. As the Executive Vice President and Treasurer, and also as the President of its consumer finance business, he played a key role in CIT Group's IPO and its transition into a bank holding company. This involved close collaboration with federal regulatory bodies and was a significant milestone in his career, underscored by his participation in the largest management buyout (MBO) in financial services history, a deal that earned "deal of the year" accolades from Institutional Investor.

Currently, he serves on the board of Annaly Capital Management, where he contributes to the Risk Committee and the Corporate Responsibility Committee. He has also served as the Board Chair of CIT Bank and as the Lead Finance Director for the Hunterdon County YMCA.
