Education
Isabelle began her educational journey at KEDGE Business School, where she earned a Master’s degree in International Commerce from 1982 to 1986. She continued to broaden her horizons by obtaining a Certificate in Mandarin from National Taiwan University between 1986 and 1988. Furthering her expertise, Isabelle attended INSEAD in 1994 to complete an MBA in Business and Administration. She also took a significant step towards understanding the digital world by attaining a certification in Digital Transformation from emlyon business school in 2017-2018.
Early Career
Isabelle's career began in 1988 when she founded DULFORD, a trading company in Taiwan, managing to break even quickly by securing a major project. In 1991, she joined L'Oréal and spent over 15 years there, holding various significant roles. As a cosmetic business development manager for Lancôme and Yves Saint Laurent in Asia Pacific, she positioned Lancôme as a top skincare brand in the region. Isabelle then moved to higher responsibilities, such as leading marketing and commercial strategies for fragrances, driving sales growth, and stabilizing market shares.
L'Oréal Tenure
From 2001 to 2008, Isabelle held multiple director positions at L'Oréal, focusing on travel retail marketing and fragrance business units. Her efforts resulted in significant sales increases for brands like Viktor & Rolf and Diesel, and she was instrumental in introducing Giorgio Armani Cosmetics in China.
Hermès Transition
In 2008, Isabelle transitioned to Hermès, where she continued her successful trajectory. Over several years, she served as the International Operational Marketing Director for Hermès Parfums, the Director of International Retail Business Development and Communication, and later, the Director of Event Communication Projects. Her tenure at Hermès was marked by substantial sell-out increases, successful international events, and significant improvements in brand performance.
Freelance Roles
In 2018, Isabelle took on freelance roles that showcased her ability to lead digital transformation and brand strategy projects. She worked with DURIEU GROUPE, Huawei, and Wyve (formerly HEXA Surfboard), driving projects that focused on transforming business cultures, enhancing brand perceptions, and launching new products.
NEPITA CONSEIL
Most recently, in May 2024, Isabelle founded NEPITA CONSEIL, where she uses her extensive experience to help teams in the FMCG and luxury sectors improve their overall performance by adapting to new market dynamics and refining value propositions.
