Jennifer's career started at Accenture as a consultant from 1993 to 1996, where she honed her analytical and problem-solving skills. She then moved to Gartner as a Senior Research Analyst until 1999. Her role involved analyzing market trends, which positioned her well for future leadership roles.
Transition to E-Commerce
In 2000, Jennifer transitioned to drugstore.com as Senior Director of Operations, where she spent four years learning the intricacies of e-commerce and operations management. She later joined Polo Ralph Lauren in 2004 as VP of Strategy, Finance, and Operations, further refining her strategic planning and financial management skills.
Leadership Roles
Her career took a significant leap in 2008 when she became Chief Operating Officer of Gilt.com. Here, Jennifer demonstrated her capacity to build and lead teams, contributing to the company's growth. She then transitioned to giggle in 2010, maintaining her COO role and focusing on simplifying business complexities.
J.Crew and Peapod
From 2011 to 2015, Jennifer served as COO for J.Crew Direct. Her work earned her high praise for strategic vision and leadership. She then moved on to become the CEO and President of Peapod, where she led the company from 2015 to 2017.
