From July 2011 to December 2015, Jennifer was the Director of Consumer Communications at Facebook, managing the consumer communications team. Before her tenure at Facebook, she worked at Polyvore as the Director of Communications from January 2010 to January 2011. There, she developed a multi-faceted media and branding campaign that garnered extensive media coverage.
Jennifer’s career in media includes stints as a producer at CBS News, MSNBC, and CNN. At CBS News, from January 2007 to January 2010, she produced interviews with key political figures and was part of an award-winning journalism team. She also worked at MSNBC from January 2005 to January 2007 and at CNN from January 2000 to January 2005, where she was a White House Producer. She started her career at CNN as an Assistant to the President from January 1998 to January 2000.
Education
Educationally, Jennifer attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she earned a degree in Communications Studies with a concentration in Japanese. She remains actively involved with her alma mater, serving on the University of Michigan’s Tri-State NextGen Leadership Council.
Board Membership and Personal Life
Outside of her professional achievements, Jennifer is a member of the Regional Plan Association’s Board of Directors. She hails from Flint, Michigan, and currently resides in New York with her husband Ed and their three children.
