She currently holds the position of CIO & CPO Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank, where she leads the technology strategy and delivery for the bank's global corporate banking business. This role allows her to utilize advanced technology to drive innovation, solve complex problems, and push the digital agenda in the highly regulated banking sector.

 

Previous Roles

 

Her previous role was at Credit Suisse as the Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO) and Executive Board member. Here, she was instrumental in improving operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction while achieving notable cost savings. Post the UBS acquisition, she focused on Americas Wealth Management Technology and contributed to significant advances in that space.

 

Contributions to Goldman Sachs

 

Hannaford has also made substantial contributions during her time at Goldman Sachs. She held multiple positions ranging from Partner, CIO EMEA Engineering & Global Head Regulatory Engineering to Partner, Global Head of Corporate and Operations Technology, and CTO Enterprise Platforms. Her leadership in these roles included managing global technology strategies, regulatory engineering, and compliance systems. She also served as the Managing Director and Global Head of Compliance and Legal Technology, highlighting her versatility and expertise in managing technology across various functions.

 

Early Career

 

Earlier in her career, she held the position of Executive Director, Global Volume Trading Systems at NatWest Markets, and before that, Vice President, Equities Analytics at UBS Investment Bank. Across these roles, she gained comprehensive experience in trading systems, compliance management systems, IT strategy, and vendor management.
