During her tenure at Borealis, Katja made substantial contributions, such as reorganization of the procurement process to achieve sustainable savings and driving transformation initiatives across the organization. She also played a crucial role as Board Member of Borouge Pte and Borealis Agrolinz Melamine GmbH, and served as Chairwoman of the Board at Borealis Insurance A/S.

Current Roles

In June 2022, Katja joined OMV AG as the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. OMV AG, headquartered in Vienna, is transitioning into a leading sustainable fuels, chemicals, and materials company with a focus on circular economy solutions. Since April 2023, she has also been a Member of the Supervisory Board of OMV Petrom, an integrated oil & gas company operating in Romania and Kazakhstan.
