Keith's educational foundation was laid at Florida State University’s College of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Early Career
 

Keith began his career with Assurant in 1998 as Vice President of Finance at Federal Warranty, part of the Assurant group, located in Orange County, California. His ability to manage financial operations quickly propelled him up the ranks. By 1999, he had become the Senior Vice President of Operations and CFO, which marked the beginning of his long-standing association with Assurant.

Over the years, Keith rose through various significant roles at Assurant, each with expanded responsibilities.

• From 2003 to 2006, he served as COO of Federal Warranty.
• Following this, he held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager, Extended Service from 2006 to 2010, where he led the Consumer Product Extended Service Contract business.
• Between 2010 and 2013, Keith managed the Consumer Product Service and Vehicle Service Contract businesses as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Extended Protection Solutions.
• His expertise in strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions became evident when he took on the role of Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and M&A from 2013 to 2015, and subsequently, as President of Emerging Markets and Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and M&A.

In 2016, Keith's scope extended internationally as the Executive Vice President and President for Assurant's International division until January 2022. Here, he oversaw the company's businesses and operations outside the U.S., significantly contributing to Assurant's global footprint.

In 2022, Keith was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, a role he held until November 2023 when he ascended to his current position as Chief Financial Officer.
