Kevin Silva, hailing from Manhasset, New York, has had a notable career in the human resources and executive leadership domains, with over forty years of experience. His educational journey began at St. John's University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications. He advanced his studies at New York University, obtaining a Master of Science in Psychology. Further recognizing his contributions, the New York Institute of Technology awarded him an Honorary Doctorate of Science, during which he also delivered the keynote address at their 58th annual commencement.

 
Early Career at Pepsi Cola
 

Kevin's career kicked off at Pepsi Cola Company, where he served as the Executive Director of Human Resources for a decade. In this role, he managed HR services for over 50,000 employees in Pepsi Cola’s independent bottling businesses.

 
Transition to MasterCard
 

He then transitioned to MasterCard, becoming the Vice President of Global Human Resources and Development. Here, he oversaw global HR functions including staffing, compensation, benefits, and executive development.

 
Leadership at Merrill Lynch
 

The next significant step in his career was with Merrill Lynch as the First Vice President, Director of Human Resources. In this position, Kevin developed a global HR team and revamped the company's reward systems while establishing consistent staffing and succession processes worldwide.

 
Roles at MBIA Insurance Company
 

Kevin continued to climb the corporate ladder as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer at MBIA Insurance Company. He spent over a decade managing multiple support functions such as human resources, information resources, marketing, and public relations for MBIA and its subsidiaries.

 
Move to Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd.
 

Following this, he joined Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd., where he took on the roles of Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer. His responsibilities extended to overseeing HR, communications, and marketing for this $5-billion global insurance company based in Bermuda.

 
Executive Role at Voya Financial
 

In February 2012, Kevin became the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Voya Financial, a Fortune 500 company. He played a crucial role following Voya’s IPO in 2013, driving significant organizational improvements that led to a 10-point boost in organizational health and outperforming the S&P 500 in share price growth.
