Raymond's professional career spans 16 years, during which he has specialized in middle and back-office operations. His journey in the banking sector began at Citi in September 2008, where he worked in the Regional Cash Processing Unit providing cash management services. He moved on to Bank of America Merrill Lynch in March 2010 as an Equity Specialist. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he stayed for over eight years, engaging in collateral management, cash equities, settlement, and securities lending.

 
Career Progression
 

In April 2018, Raymond took on the role of Manager at CIMB Private Banking in Singapore. His responsibilities included ensuring timely settlements for private banking clients across diverse asset classes such as equities, loans, mutual funds, and bonds. He then transitioned to DBS Vickers Securities in September 2018 as a Senior Associate, focusing on middle office operations and custody clearing.

His career continued its upward trajectory when he joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch again in May 2019, but this time as a Senior Associate in Securities Core Trading and Operations. During his tenure, he supported cash equities trades processing, institutional client trades, and global market operations. In October 2020, Raymond became an Assistant Vice President at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB), where he supported global wholesale and retail clients in various investment asset classes.

 
Current Role and Achievements
 

As of June 2021, Raymond holds the position of Rates Middle Office at J.P. Morgan in Singapore. His responsibilities include managing interest rate swaps, derivatives, trading, and middle office operations. Throughout his career, Raymond has demonstrated exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, allowing him to effectively manage multi-functional and multi-cultural teams. He has been instrumental in engaging stakeholders and driving strategic cost management initiatives.
