She began her professional journey at The Timken Company, where she held various operational, strategic, and HR leadership roles from 1981 to 2005. This long tenure set the stage for her future endeavors in Human Resources.

 
Advancing in Human Resources
 

In 2005, LeighAnne moved to The Reynolds and Reynolds Company as Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources. She then spent seven years at Hertz Global Holdings, where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer until 2014.

 
Global Leadership at Cargill
 

Following Hertz, LeighAnne joined Cargill as Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief HR Officer. During her time at Cargill, she led HR strategies for 165,000 employees spread across 70 countries, demonstrating her capability to manage large-scale operations on a global level. She left Cargill in 2020.

She has served as a board member for ABM Industries, Inc. since October 2018, where she chairs the Compensation Committee and is a member of the Governance Committee.
