Amy Gilliland has built an impressive career that marries military service with leadership in the technology and defense sectors. Her educational journey began at the United States Naval Academy, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, laying a strong foundation for her future roles. Recognizing the importance of advanced education, Amy furthered her studies at the University of Cambridge, receiving a Master of Philosophy in International Relations and Affairs.

Starting her career in the U.S. Navy, Amy served as a Surface Warfare Officer on the USS Laboon and held various roles including Media Liaison Officer, Navy Spokesperson, and Congressional Liaison Officer. Amy's roles included Director of Strategic Planning & Investor Relations, Staff Vice President of Investor Relations, and Staff Vice President of Strategic Planning. Her leadership abilities shone through, and she eventually became the Senior Vice President of Human Resources Administration and later, Senior Vice President of Operations.

Since September 2017, Amy has been serving as the President of GDIT. In this role, she leads nearly 30,000 professionals in delivering innovative solutions to government agencies, emphasizing a collaborative and growth-oriented work culture.
