Early Career
Noam's professional path started at McMaster-Carr Supply Company, where he worked as an Inventory/Project Manager from 1998 to 2000. This early role helped him develop essential skills in project management and operations. He then transitioned to Kurt Salmon Associates, a management consulting firm, where he progressively took on more responsibility. From 2000 to 2011, Noam held various positions, including Senior Consultant, Senior Lead Consultant, Manager, and Senior Manager. Each of these roles allowed him to deepen his expertise in retail and digital strategy, preparing him for higher leadership positions.
Leadership at AlixPartners
In 2011, Noam moved to AlixPartners, where he initially worked as a Vice President before being promoted to Director. During his tenure there from 2011 to 2017, he led high-impact performance improvement and capability development projects for omni-channel retailers. His work significantly enhanced their digital and marketing abilities, making him a key player in the industry.
Role at Gap Inc.
Noam’s next major role was at Gap Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President of Digital from 2017 to 2019. At Gap Inc., he led the digital sales and engagement channels for the company's global brands, contributing to digital sales growth of over one billion dollars. This achievement underscored his capability in driving substantial business improvements and leveraging technology for enhanced customer experiences.
Achievements at Tapestry
In April 2019, Noam joined Tapestry, a global house of brands that includes Coach, Kate Spade New York, and Stuart Weitzman. Initially serving as the Chief Digital Officer, he drove Tapestry's digital innovation agenda, creating an inspiring omni-channel experience. In August 2022, he was promoted to Chief Omni and Innovation Officer, a role in which he continues to put customers at the center of the company's efforts, solidifying Tapestry's standing in the competitive retail market.
Industry Contributions
In addition to his impressive corporate career, Noam has also contributed to the industry as a Board Member at ThredUp since June 2024. This role highlights his influence and thought leadership in the retail and digital commerce fields.
