His educational background is grounded in actuarial science, with a Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University. Nationwide Financial (1992-2001)
 

Rob began his professional journey at Nationwide Financial, where he held various actuarial positions from 1992 to 2001. Starting as an Actuarial Assistant, he focused on asset liability management and disability reserves. He advanced to roles such as Assistant Actuary and Associate Actuary, responsible for revenue forecasts and asset management projects.

Lincoln Financial Group (2001-2014)
 

In 2001, Rob joined Lincoln Financial Group, where his career took a leap forward. Over a span of nearly 13 years, he held several senior roles. As Vice President overseeing individual annuity business, he was accountable for product development and business strategy. Later, as Senior Vice President and Head of Retirement Solutions Products, he continued to drive product strategies and profitability. His leadership extended further as President of Group Protection at Lincoln, where he directed one of the top providers of life and disability insurance.

Voya Financial (2015-Present)
 

Rob's transition to Voya Financial in 2015 marked a new chapter in his career. Initially serving as SVP and Chief Risk Officer for Retirement Solutions, he led risk management and oversight activities. His success in this role paved the way for his promotion to President of Employee Benefits in 2016, where he managed a broad portfolio including stop-loss, group life, voluntary, and disability income insurance products.

Current Leadership at Voya Financial
 

In March 2021, Rob stepped up as CEO of Health Solutions at Voya Financial, further expanding his leadership impact. Most recently, he was appointed CEO of Workplace Solutions in December 2022, continuing his trajectory in influential executive roles within the company.
