Rosalind Reeves, SPHR, is a seasoned HR leader known for her expertise in developing and executing people strategies that enhance organizational priorities, ROI, employee productivity, and engagement. With a career spanning several notable organizations, she has progressively taken on more substantial roles in the human resources field, showcasing her impressive leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
 
Education
 

Rosalind began her educational journey at Greensboro College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. This foundational education provided her with a broad perspective and versatility, which she has since applied throughout her diverse career.
 
Professional Path
 

Her professional path began at Sears Holdings Corporation, where she served as the HR Director for Merchandising from January 2003 to January 2006 in Hoffman Estates, IL. Moving forward, she joined The Hartford as the HR Director for Sales and Distribution in January 2006, later transitioning to the role of HR Director for Talent Management until April 2009. Her tenure with The Hartford in Carmel, Indiana, and the Southeast Division honed her skills in talent management and sales support.

Rosalind’s next significant step was with Dollar General in a series of senior HR roles, including Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Corporate Human Resources, and HR Service Center from April 2009 to October 2014. During these years, she worked out of Goodlettsville, TN, focusing on diversifying talent acquisition and refining HR practices.

In February 2015, Rosalind joined AMC Theatres, where she served in various VP roles, initially focusing on Talent Management, then Benefits & Employment Practices, and finally, Employment Practices & Compliance until August 2019. Her time at AMC Theatres solidified her reputation for succession planning, employee engagement, and compliance.

In 2020, she briefly explored entrepreneurial endeavors by co-founding AgileHR Services, offering HR and payroll services to small and medium-sized enterprises. This role was followed by her impactful tenure at Foot Locker. At Foot Locker, she held several leadership positions, starting as VP of Field Human Resources for North America, moving to VP of Talent, Diversity & Organizational Capability, and subsequently rising to EVP & Chief HR Officer. From December 2022 to July 2024, she led HR initiatives for 50,000 team members across 28 countries, promoting a transformative workplace culture.
 
Certifications
 

Beyond her corporate roles, Rosalind holds several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI, which she earned in July 2018 and is valid until December 2024. She also completed the Black Executive Leadership Program by McKinsey & Company in April 2021 and various LinkedIn courses focused on brainstorming and effortless productivity in 2022.
