Career Overview
 
Rose Stuckey Kirk is a seasoned executive with a rich career spanning over 35 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Arkansas State University, earned between 1981 and 1984. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Affairs at Washington University in St. Louis, where she began her studies in January 2015.
 
 
Early Career
 
Starting her career as a news reporter at TimesDaily in Florence, Alabama, Rose soon transitioned into the telecommunications industry. Her first major role was as a Marketing Director at AT&T in the Greater St. Louis Area from 1987 to 1997. She then joined Verizon, where she held various leadership positions beginning as Sr. Director of Product and Marketing in Dallas, Texas, from 1998 to 2003. Over the years, she climbed up the corporate ladder, taking on roles such as Director of Marketing and Communications, Vice President of Sales and Customer Care for Medium Business Customer Segment, Vice President of Employee Engagement, and Vice President of Enterprise and Government Sales.
 
 
Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer
 
In January 2012, Rose took up the role of Chief Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Officer and Senior Marketing Executive at Verizon. In this capacity, she led the transformation of Verizon's CSR strategy, driving significant changes and improvements.
 
 
Board Memberships
 
Aside from her direct roles at Verizon, Rose has been an influential figure on various boards. She currently serves as a Board Director for Casella Waste Systems, Inc., where she is part of the Compensation and Human Capital, and Nominating and ESG Committees. She is also a member of the Board of Directors at the National Archives Foundation, acting as Co-chair of the Development Committee, and holds board positions at the global business consulting firm BSR and the World Childhood Foundation.
 
 
Non-Profit Work
 
Her contributions extend into the non-profit sector. She served on the Board of Trustees for Gill St. Bernard's School, taking on roles such as Strategic Plan-chair and Finance Committee member, and was Chair of the Board of Directors for Dress for Success Worldwide for eight years.

Throughout her career, Rose has been recognized in several prestigious media outlets including Good Morning America, Fortune, and Forbes. She has been featured in a BBC documentary and served as an executive producer for the documentary "Without A Net: The Digital Divide in America".
