Stéphane Delbos has built an impressive career in procurement and strategic sourcing, demonstrating notable achievements along the way. His educational foundation laid the groundwork for his success, starting with a degree in Food Industry and Biology from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, which he earned between 1997 and 1999. He then pursued an MST in International Marketing from the IAE France - Écoles Universitaires de Management, completing it in 2001. Stéphane further honed his expertise by obtaining a Master’s in Management de l'achat Industriel (MAI) from the KEDGE Business School in 2002.

His career began at Pfizer, where he served as a Buyer from 2002 to 2006. In this role, he managed various commodities such as Creative agencies, Fleet, Market Research, and Real Estate. Stéphane was then promoted to European Sourcing Manager, a position he held until 2010. He continued to build on this experience at Ipsen as a Purchasing Manager from 2006 to 2007.
Coty Career Path
Stéphane joined Coty in 2010, and his career trajectory within the company is notable for his progression through increasingly senior roles. He started as the Global Sourcing Director for Marketing and Sales, leading a team of sourcing professionals based in key global cities including New York City, Paris, and London. He managed procurement for key commodities such as Merchandising and Creative agencies until 2014.
His next role at Coty was Vice President, Global Indirect Procurement Lead, where he was responsible for managing a $2.1 billion spend and leading a team of 50 people across North America, Europe, and ALMEA regions. Following his success in this position, he was promoted to Senior Vice President Transformation, Indirects and Procurement Operations in 2020, based in Paris.
Current Role and Impact
In January 2021, Stéphane took on his current role as Chief Procurement Officer at Coty, operating out of Amsterdam. In this high-ranking position, he has continued to demonstrate his leadership and expertise, playing a critical role in the company’s procurement strategies.
