She has a proven track record in managing IPOs, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and driving operational excellence. Susanna has overseen over $30 billion in M&A transactions and raised $1 billion in equity and debt. This level of expertise has also enabled her to successfully guide two companies through their initial public offerings (IPOs).

Susanna holds an impressive educational background. She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, where she was actively involved as the Co-President of the Women’s Student Association, an Editor of the HBS newspaper, and a member of the women’s ice hockey team. Additionally, she has a Master's Degree in International/Global Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Stanford University. She completed both with honors in Quantitative Economics within four years.
Professional Journey
Her professional journey began at Booz Allen & Hamilton, where she worked as a Senior Associate advising Fortune 500 clients on growth strategies and new product development. She then moved on to women.com as the Director of Business and Corporate Development, managing partnerships, strategy, and M&A.
Oracle
Susanna's career further solidified at Oracle, where she became the Senior Director of Corporate Development, managing acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships. Her expertise in corporate strategy was further honed at Charles Schwab, where she served as the Vice President of Corporate Development, leading significant cost-saving initiatives and mentoring a broad investment portfolio.
Vertafore
At Vertafore, Susanna held the role of Senior Vice President, spearheading teams in corporate development, strategy, and marketing, and playing a crucial part in the company's $1.4 billion sale to TPG Capital. Later, as the Senior Vice President of Finance at Concur, she contributed to its acquisition by SAP for $8.3 billion.
Apptio
At Apptio, Susanna managed investor relations, strategic planning, and financial operations as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations. She was instrumental in Apptio’s public offering and its subsequent sale to IBM for $4.6 billion.
Remitly
Susanna's role as Chief Financial Officer at Remitly marked another high point in her career. She led the company through its IPO in September 2021, dramatically increasing revenue and enhancing profitability while scaling the finance team and systems.
Current Roles
Currently, Susanna serves as an Executive Advisor at Remitly. She is also engaged as a Board Member at Mixpanel and Payoneer, where she brings her deep financial expertise to the committees she serves. Additionally, she is a Founding Member of Guilds by FirstMark, a private community for C-level executives at leading venture-backed companies.
