Terri Leitgeb has built a remarkable career in human resources, underpinned by a solid educational foundation and a wealth of professional achievements. Terri's journey began at Oregon State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Following this, she pursued an MBA from Portland State University, graduating in 1999. These academic qualifications laid the groundwork for her expertise in HR and business management.

 
Professional Beginnings
 

Terri’s professional career started at Providence Health System in Oregon, where she served as a Compensation Manager from January 1999 to January 2000. She then moved to Novartis, working as a Rewards Consultant for a year before joining Safeco Insurance as Director of Rewards, a position she held for over four years. These early roles helped Terri develop a robust understanding of employee compensation and benefits, key skills that would serve her throughout her career.

 
Significant Roles at Tesco
 

In 2006, Terri joined Tesco, one of the largest retail companies in the world. During her six-year tenure at Tesco, she took on several significant roles. She served as the HR Director for fresh & easy neighborhood markets and later as the HR Director for Group Property. Her last position at Tesco was as Regional HR Director for Central Europe and Turkey, based in London. These roles were pivotal in broadening her expertise in employee relations, talent management, and organizational change across various global markets.

 
Leadership at dunnhumby
 

Terri then transitioned to dunnhumby in 2012, where she held the role of Chief People Officer until November 2016. Her leadership at dunnhumby, a global data science company, further cemented her reputation as a strategic HR leader capable of fostering substantial corporate growth and culture change.

 
Transformative Role at David’s Bridal
 

Following her time at dunnhumby, Terri took on the role of Chief People Officer at David’s Bridal in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, from December 2017 to March 2021. Here, she played a crucial role in steering the company through a significant period of transformation and ensuring that employee engagement and talent management were prioritized.

 
Strategic HR at Blue Apron
 

In April 2021, Terri became the Chief People Officer at Blue Apron, a meal-kit delivery service company based in New York. Over a span of three years, her strategic HR initiatives helped enhance the company’s employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

 
Current Role at Orveon Global
 

As of July 2024, Terri serves as the Chief People Officer at Orveon Global, a New York City-based company focused on transforming the beauty industry with its premium and prestige beauty brands. Her comprehensive experience and strategic mindset are invaluable assets as Orveon Global aims to make a sustainable impact in the beauty sector.
