He currently holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Information & Digital Officer at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). Based in the Greater New York City Area, Vic is responsible for spearheading the company's technology strategy, managing technology delivery, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Early Career
Vic's career kicked off with key roles at Dow, where he progressed from a production engineer to the Director of Operations over a decade. His focus during this time was primarily on polymer emulsion production, where he gained foundational experience in managing large-scale industrial operations.
Consultancy Roles
In 2000, Vic transitioned into consultancy with PricewaterhouseCoopers MCS, specializing in supply chain strategy and ERP implementations. This role laid the groundwork for his future in enterprise architecture and IT service management. Shortly thereafter, he joined Bristol-Myers Squibb. Here, he held multiple roles, including Chief Information Officer for the ConvaTec business unit and Executive Director of Enterprise Data Management. These roles allowed him to set strategies for data practices and manage complex IT and business processes.
GlaxoSmithKline
Vic then moved to GlaxoSmithKline, where he served as Chief Architect and Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, Risk, and Sourcing. This position had him overseeing enterprise-wide governance and leading multiple strategic initiatives.
American Express
In 2010, Vic joined American Express as Vice President of Global Infrastructure Operations, later serving as Senior Vice President of Global Infrastructure. His responsibilities included managing IT service management, enterprise service desks, and vendor partnerships.
Educational Background
Educationally, Vic is well-equipped with a solid grounding in both technical and managerial disciplines. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University, followed by a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Marshall University. To cap his formal education, Vic obtained an MBA in General Management and Finance from USC Marshall School of Business.
