Early Career: Moelis & Company

After graduating from Harvard, Heyburn embarked on his professional career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company from July 2011 to June 2013. In this role, he contributed to major restructuring transactions, including the high-profile bankruptcy and subsequent merger of American Airlines with U.S. Airways.

Progression at Oak Hill Advisors, L.P.

Heyburn then moved on to Oak Hill Advisors, L.P., where he worked as an associate from July 2013 to January 2015. During his time there, he specialized in high-yield and distressed credit investments across various industries, including aerospace, retail, and industrial sectors.
