Starting his career as a business consultant at Monitor Group from 1997 to 2001, Yannis transitioned into product management roles at Microsoft, where he managed the planning and launch of a Windows operating system for emerging markets from 2003 to 2005.

Yannis then took on various leadership roles at Smilebox from 2006 to 2011, progressing from VP of Marketing & Business Development to General Manager of Smilebox Europe. He played a pivotal role in expanding Smilebox's reach into European markets.
Significant Contributions at Flurry, Inc.
His next major stint was at Flurry, Inc., where he initially served as VP for Flurry For Publishers before becoming VP of Business Operations. During his time at Flurry, from 2011 to 2014, he grew the company's revenue from $0 to $100 million and expanded its sales teams significantly.
Role at Yahoo
After Flurry, Yannis joined Yahoo, taking charge as VP of Platform & Exchange Sales & Operations. He led the company’s $1 billion+ programmatic business and managed Yahoo’s third-party video and native supply business across mobile and desktop from 2014 to 2017.
Achievements at Twitter
Yannis's expertise caught the attention of Twitter, where he worked from 2017 to 2022. As VP of Global Strategy & Operations and later as VP of Emerging Businesses, he played a key role in managing and growing 15% of Twitter's revenues. He also led teams involved in the sale and growth of MoPub and the Twitter Developer Platform.
Integral Ad Science
At Integral Ad Science, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer from 2022 to 2024, Yannis demonstrated his ability to drive rapid revenue growth. Under his leadership, the company’s revenue surged from $323 million to $473 million, an impressive 46% increase in just two years.
Current Role at Pinterest
Currently, Yannis serves as the Head of Global Client Solutions at Pinterest, where he continues to leverage his vast experience to enhance the company’s performance, measurement, brand, and creative solutions on a global scale.
